CWJobs.co.uk will give two Brits an AR CV

Brits looking to grab the attention of employers could do just that with an augmented reality CV, says CWJobs.co.uk.

CWJobs.co.uk has put together a video featuring technology guru and presented of the Gadget Show Jason Bradbury, to demonstrate just how an augmented reality CV is created.

The IT recruitment firm if offering two Brits the chance to get their hands on bespoke augmented reality CVs.

A team of designers, animators, video editors and developers will work with the winner to bring each of the key skills on the their CV to life. The CV will then be distributed to over 2,500 IT recruiters who advertise their vacancies on CWJobs. The winners will also receiev £500 in Amazon vouchers.

"This competition offers IT jobseekers the opportunity to create a CV that is not only visually engaging and attention grabbing, it also gives them a chance to be involved in the creation from a technical perspective which is an invaluable learning experience," said Wood.

Richard Nott from CWJobs.co.uk said recruiters look for CVs with rich content to make them stand out.

"AR is just one of many developments in CV creation we expect to see in the recruitment sector over the coming years."

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.
