Yellow Dog Linux Developer Support Program debuts

Terra Soft Solutions Inc. earlier last week announced the publication of its first book, a guide to help users of its Yellow Dog Linux (YDL) operating system get started. Now, the company announced the launch of its Yellow Dog Linux Developer Support Program.

Yellow Dog Linux is an implementation of the open source operating system that runs on PowerPC-equipped computers. In addition to a wide range of Macintosh models, Yellow Dog Linux also runs on Yellow briQ Nodes -- self-contained high density PowerPC-based Linux computers.

Terra Soft CTO Dan Burcaw said that up until now, his company's developer relations have been informal and were focused on primarily on experienced users.

"We desire to make available our experience, the community's expertise, and the YDL foundation to a broader community, to developers and commercial vendors who may not have historically had access to or considered YDL," said Burcaw.

The YDL Developer Support program is free of charge. Members are eligible for:

-- online access to an Apple Macintosh build-box -- online access to a single Yellow briQ Node -- online access to a Yellow briQ cluster -- discounted Terra Soft products -- product placement on the YDL 3rd Party Applications page -- potential sales relationship through Terra Soft's Store Users interested in signing up for the YDL Developer Support Program are encouraged to visit the Web site.

Brother QL-820NWB Professional Label Printer

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.

The Huddle Board’s built in program; Sharp Touch Viewing software allows us to easily manipulate and edit our documents (jpegs and PDFs) all at the same time on the dashboard.

The biggest perks for me would be that it comes with easy to use and comprehensive programs that make the collaboration process a whole lot more intuitive and organic
