Many of the Logitech cameras come with a charter membership of www.spotlife.com that includes 15MB of Web space for stored content and 240 streaming minutes per month with a maximum of 25 viewers.
This would be perfect for the home-bound and for roaming travellers alike - and so is this camera.
It features a rear LCD (not back lit) that provides information such as number of pictures remaining. On the road, the camera operates on two AA batteries. It features 4MB of memory which can hold up to 200 pictures at 320x240 or 60 pictures at 640x480. In webcam mode, stills and 25fps can be captured at 640x480.
Full motion video was best at 320x240. Advanced driver settings allow you to configure such settings as contrast, saturation and brightness. With the Logitech software, all Logitech cameras become capable of creating pictures and videos, acting as a webcam, broadcasting live video, creating animations and detecting motion.
The overall quality of the Traveller was above average, even in low-light situations such as overcast skies or semi-lit interiors, and its supplied base made it easy to find a place to put it.
Pros: Easy to set up, great purpose-built software, built-in microphone, lens protector, digicam modeCons: Price, only 4MB memory
