Samsung outs Nexus Prime in teaser video

Samsung Nexus Prime, Android Ice Cream Sandwich expected to be unveiled on 11 October

Samsung has published a teaser video of what is believed to its new Nexus Prime smartphone, ahead of its expected unveiling at a media launch on 11 October.

The Samsung Nexus Prime is likely to be the first smartphone to runs the latest version of Google's Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich. Typically, Google partners with a manufacturer to launch a new version of Android: in the past HTC brought to market the Nexus One to launch Android 2.1 "Eclair", while Samsung used the Nexus S to debut Android 2.3 "Gingerbread".

The device is outed towards the end of the promo video and appears to be a new phone with a curved display. The right side of the phone shows a power button, and what looks like either a 3-pin dock connector or three small LED lights.

Rumours of the Samsung Nexus Prime have been doing the rounds for weeks. The new flagship Android phone is expected to have a 720p HD screen with 1280x720 resolution and is likely to be anywhere from 4.3-4.6in in size. It's also widely reported to have a pixel density of 320 pixels per inch (ppi), only slightly less than Apple's "Retina" display used on the iPhone 4 and the new iPhone 4S.

On Tuesday, GSM Arena published a photograph of what appears to be the Nexus Prime. It shows on-screen buttons in a style similar to what's seen on Google's Honeycomb Android tablets, along with the reported screen resolution and pixel density figures.

The "Samsung Unpacked 2011" event is scheduled for 11 October and will be held at CTIA convention in San Diego.

It really doesn’t get more “gaming laptop” than this.

MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.

MSI PS63

The MSI PS63 is an amazing laptop and I would definitely consider buying one in the future.
