Samsung Australia will open its first official retail store in Australia this month in Sydney, following an invitation sent to the media this morning for an "exclusive preview".

The Samsung Experience Store will be located at 450 George St, Sydney, in the heart of the CBD. Curiously, the Samsung store will be a stone throw away from Apple's largest Australian retail store, which is located at 367 George Street, Sydney.

The new Samsung Experience Store will be exclusively previewed to the media next Wednesday, August 22, from 5pm. The private event will be hosted by Samsung's Vice President of Telecommunications in Australia, Tyler McGee.

The Samsung Experience Store will be the first of its kind in Australia. Last month, the company opened a retail store in Vancouver, Canada, which was the first of its kind in North America.

Specific details of the Sydney store, such as which product lines will be sold, haven't been revealed yet. The store in Canada appears to focus mainly on "mobility products" which Samsung says are devices that consumers can physically take out of the store like smartphones, tablets and notebooks.

Products like the Samsung Galaxy S III, the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Series 9 notebook all feature prominently in the Canadian store, so we expect much more of the same in Sydney.

Here's an overview of the Canadian store which may or may not be similar to the Sydney one.

The HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer is a great device that fits perfectly into my fast paced and mobile lifestyle. My first impression of the printer itself was how incredibly compact and sleek the device was.

Wireless printing from my iPhone was also a handy feature, the whole experience was quick and seamless with no setup requirements - accessed through the default iOS printing menu options.

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.
