Sennheiser has confirmed a new pair of headphones and a brace of headphone amplifiers for the Australian market, bringing the IFA-announced MOMENTUM 'urban' headphones, HDVD 800 and HDVA 600 amplifiers to the country by the end of the year.

The Momentum headphones are part of Sennheiser's Style Selection, emphasising good looks alongside sound quality. The headband and earpads are made from soft English Pittany leather, with a simple stainless steel slider for adjusting the headphones' size.
The Sennheiser Momentum includes an iPod- and iPhone-compatible in-line control on the headphones' cable, which can handle volume control as well as playback. These stylish headphones will be available in Australia from October.

Two amplifers will complement the company's existing range of audiophile headphones including the exclusive HD 800 down to the HD 600. Sennheiser is new to the digital headphone amplifier game, and has followed its first model up with an analogue counterpart.
The new HDVA 600 amplifier is an analogue amplifier with an expected November release, while the premium HDVD 800 includes a digital-to-analogue audio converter and will be available in Australia from December.
