Optus to offer broadband "summer treat"

Optus will now offer its prime customers extra data downloads during off-peak hours as a "summer treat" in an offer extending until February 28.

Through the offer, all data downloaded between 2am and 8am will be unlimited and not contribute to the customer's monthly data allowance.

The offer applies to both Cable and DSL customers who are on the Unlimited and Unlimited Pro plans. Both these plans target users with large download requirements. The Unlimited plan is scaled back to dial-up speeds once 12GB has been downloaded and the Unlimited Pro is scaled back once 20GB has reached.

This offer joins other existing Optus offers. This includes a free broadband installation with any Optus Home Phone package and a bundled reward scheme offering customers who take up an Optus voice product up to four months free broadband access every year. The offer also joins other ISP's that are offering discounts or packages in an attempt to lure Christmas customers.

Such offers include Primus' offering of broadband speeds of up to 6Mbps (See story: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/index.php?id=1297863376), Telstra's bundling of music and movie services along with new accounts (See story: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/index.php?id=1515325727) and OzEmail's free modem with any new broadband account (see story: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/index.php?id=223877267

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.

The Huddle Board’s built in program; Sharp Touch Viewing software allows us to easily manipulate and edit our documents (jpegs and PDFs) all at the same time on the dashboard.

The biggest perks for me would be that it comes with easy to use and comprehensive programs that make the collaboration process a whole lot more intuitive and organic
