<p>Sydney, 3 November 2003 – Canon Australia today announced the CanoScan 3200F, a high speed and intelligent scanner equipped to handle film, photos and documents with precision. Priced at just $269 RRP, the CanoScan 3200F covers all scanning needs and is the ideal solution for the home and small office. Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh computers and featuring handy one-touch buttons, the CanoScan 3200F offers users convenience and simplicity.</p>
<p>“The CanoScan 3200F takes the fuss out of scanning. Users can effortlessly and accurately capture photos and documents while the built-in film scanner captures transparencies and slides with ease,” said Shannon Tweedie, Product Manager, Consumer Imaging Products Group, Canon Australia.</p>
<p>The CanoScan 3200F is packed with convenient timesaving features. The one-touch Scan/Copy/E-mail/File buttons make document and photo scanning easy by simplifying the process between scanning and output to just one step. The convenient PDF file function allows easy creation of multi-page PDF documents – perfect for archiving and sharing documents.</p>
<p>Similarly, Multi-Photo mode enables trouble-free scanning of multiple images in a single pass. There is no need to waste time perfectly aligning images, rather, images can simply be placed onto to the scanner and the software automatically reads and straightens images before saving into separate files.</p>
<p>Also featuring Ulead DVD PictureShow 2 SE software, photos can be easily transformed into slideshows and viewed on television or the computer. With the help of a CD burner, users are able to scan photos and compose entertaining slideshows incorporating text, music, narration, transitions and DVD menu navigation.</p>

<p>Providing outstanding image quality and clarity, the CanoScan 3200F produces 1200 x 2400 dpi optical resolution with 48-bit input depth. Supported by a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface, the CanoScan 3200F is able to quickly download high-resolution scans.</p>

§ Easy connection between Canon scanners and Bubble Jet printers enables one-button colour copying from scanner to the printer via the computer;

§ The CanoScan 3200F supports Canon Bubble Jet borderless printing and VIVID photo capabilities to ensure the best possible printed results.</p>

All software for Mac OS supports Mac OS 9.1 and 9.2, Mac OS X v10.1.3 or later.
ScanSoft OmniPage SE does not support Windows 98 First Edition.</p>
