Mario Kart 8 to be accompanied by Yoshi and Peach-themed controllers, console bundle

New version of the Nintendo classis and associated hardware to go on sale May 31.

Yoshi and Princess Peach-themed Wii Remotes will sit beside the latest iteration of Nintendo’s racing classic, Mario Kart 8, across retail stores and the Nintendo eShop when the game goes on sale in Australia on May 31.

The two controllers — Wii Remote Plus Yoshi and Wii Remote Plus Peach — will be priced at $69.95 each. Much like the colours of the respective characters, the former has a white front with orange, green and white buttons and a green shell, while the latter is pink with touches of yellow and blue.

Nintendo will also sell a ‘Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack’ priced at $429.95. The hardware bundle will contain the game, a black Wii U Premium console with 32GB of internal storage (some of which is reserved for system data), a black Wii U GamePad controller, and Sensor Bar.

In addition to returning veteran characters, Mario Kart 8 will allow you to use all seven of Browser’s minions. The game will contain 32 new and remixed classis courses; Nintendo said these are “influenced by antigravity” which allows you to race “upside down or up vertical surfaces.” There will also be new items, as well as 12-player online competitive play and four-player local multiplayer.

The HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer is a great device that fits perfectly into my fast paced and mobile lifestyle. My first impression of the printer itself was how incredibly compact and sleek the device was.

Wireless printing from my iPhone was also a handy feature, the whole experience was quick and seamless with no setup requirements - accessed through the default iOS printing menu options.

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.
