Microsoft Picture It! Digital Image Pro 7.0

in digital photography is booming: people want to have more control over their images, and the technology can require less hassle than film cameras. Film cameras are still widely used for happy snaps but benefits such as previewing just-taken images for tweaking at that point or later using image editing software help explain the popularity of digital photography. Image editing software packages are powerful tools than can be used to manipulate and modify images to the user’s preference.

One such image editing tool is Microsoft’s latest release in the Picture It! series, Digital Image Pro 7.0. Amateur photographers will rejoice at the simplicity of this software, which offers a wide range of image tools, templates and helpful wizards to make use painless.

After an easy installation, Picture It! has a well-designed and well-organised look and feel (see here for an example.)

New features include the ability to manually adjust brightness and contrast, and to add Fill Flash and Backlighting. This latest release also includes support for the popular Adobe Photoshop plug-ins.

I had no trouble using the software and found that it handled every task that was thrown at it. However, once you have grasped the basics, you may find that you need more advanced functions and control, and may look elsewhere.

In brief: Microsoft Picture It! Digital Image Pro 7.0
This software is very easy to use and has an exceptionally friendly interface.

If you can afford the price tag, it is well worth the money. It out performs any other laptop I have tried for gaming, and the transportable design and incredible display also make it ideal for work.
