Telstra's Go Mobile plans share data with the family

Fends off competition from Optus' Family Sharing plans

Australia’s largest telco is launching its Go Mobile plans today, which will allow members of a family to share unused data between one another.

The plans are in response to the Family Sharing plans introduced by Optus earlier this year in April.

Telstra’s hero plan costs $95 a month and bundles 6GB of data with unlimited national calls and text messaging. Any remaining data can be used by another family member on the account in a move that will avoid excess data charges.

In comparison, Optus offers the same 6GB of data, along with unlimited national calls and text, for $80 per month.

Customers who sign up to Telstra’s Go Mobile plans can pick one content option, including a 6-month subscription to the streaming video-on-demand service Presto, or a 12-month membership to the NRL Digital Pass or the AFL Live Pass.

Businesses can pool data allowances under Telstra’s Go Business Mobile plans.

Telstra has increased its competitiveness in the last two months in an effort to fend off its rivals Optus and Vodafone. The carrier increased data allowances in late March and capped excess the cost of excess data charges to $10 for every gigabyte.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
