Nokia Corp. will launch its first combined phone and games console, the N-Gage, in the UK on Feb. 5.
The company will also announce the game titles that will be available, and the names of game developers it is working with. When the product was first discussed in November, Nokia said that it was working with Sega Corp. among others. Sega will develop games for the device, making them available on separate memory cards that will then be distributed by Nokia, Nokia said.
The N-Gage will have a color screen, and will run on the Nokia Series 60 platform and the Symbian operating system, Nokia said.
No information about an Australian release of the product was available at the time of publication.
