Networking company, A10 Networks, has released its A10 Thunder Convergent Firewall, based on the ACOS Harmony platform.

“Thunder Convergent Firewall provides a highly effective, highly scalable all-inclusive converged secured application network platform to protect organisations’ assets. Thunder CFW is a testament to the power and versatility of the ACOS Harmony platform and we’ve worked with our customers in implementing some of the key security modules,” he added.

It also includes a Datacentre firewall (DCFW) with integrated network denial-of-service (DoS) protection and server load balancing (SLB). It provides Layer 4 stateful firewall and Layer 7 application-level gateway.

A10 said the Gi/SGi firewall with integrated network DoS and Carrier Grade NAT (CGN) protects the mobility infrastructure with advanced policy enforcement.

The release also features an an IPSec site-to-site VPN and an aGalaxy centralised management system support that provides device management, configuration, reporting and troubleshooting for Thunder CFW.
