Pokémon Go is rolling out now for iOS and Android

The game uses your smartphone's camera, sensors, and location-sharing capabilities to put Nintendo's characters in the real world.

The augmented reality, location-based game Pokémon Go is now on the way to Android and iOS.

The availability comes via a slow, global rollout that’s starting first in New Zealand. So if you’re not able to download the game yet, you may need to give it some time.

In our hands on with Pokémon Go, we found it to be a fun, digital geocaching exercise with the zany and popular characters from Nintendo. While the game is free, it’s packed in with microtransactions ranging from $1 to $100.

To enhance the experience, there’s also a $35 Pokémon Go Plus wearable, which allows you to catch Pokémon and collect items even when the app is closed or your phone is locked.

Once it hits your region, you’ll be able to download Pokémon Go from the App Store or Google Play.

Why this matters: Location-based gaming hasn’t been embraced yet by the masses, but it’ll surely get some more attention with the incredibly popular Pokémon series. You might look a little weird tossing digital Poké Balls out in public, but it’s sure to be a hit with fans of the genre and will give kids a good reason to get outside.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
