InterSystems Explains the Post-Relational Database Evolution

<p>SYDNEY - 13 October, 2003 - InterSystems Corporation, the leading provider of post-relational database systems, will host full-day interactive and hands-on workshops on post-relational database technology and rapid application development in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in October and November.</p>
<p>Featuring rapid development of Web-based Applications, InterSystems' Caché is a massively scalable, post-relational database and rapid development environment that uniquely offers three integrated data access options: an advanced object database; high performance SQL; and fast, multidimensional access.</p>
<p>Mark Ramsay - a Senior Sales Engineer at InterSystems with over 10 years Caché development experience - will conduct the workshops and cover key topics including: the post-relational database evolution; rapid application development with Caché; Web Services, SOAP, XML and WAP; and Caché and Business Intelligence.</p>
<p>Participants will learn how to increase SQL performance by as much as 20 times compared to relational technology, while significantly decreasing database administration and hardware costs. The workshops include presentations of live application and Web Services deployment examples. Participants will also develop their own Caché database application and run queries against it. The workshops take place as follows:</p>
