LG Lock In Q6 For Australian Market

The FullVision Display comes to the mid-tier

LG Australia has announced that the LG Q6 smartphone will be available in Australia from August the 24th.

With the LG Q6, LG is delivering the first smartphone in the mid-price category that brings a full screen experience to its customers, catering to the increased demand in consumers watching content on their mobiles.

“The LG Q6 makes high-end smartphone features more accessible to Australians for an exceptional price,” said Angus Jones, General Manager of Marketing for LG Australia.

“At LG we understand our consumers are using their smartphones more than ever to watch and create content. That’s why the Q6 Is a great option for those wanting a smartphone with a large screen, sleek design and strong camera capabilities.”

The smartphone uses 18:9 FullVision Display technology like the LG G6, but in a smaller body. The unique combination of the 5.5-inch FHD and the FullVision Display with its 18:9 aspect ratio makes video browsing, gaming and multi-tasking more immersive. The LG Q6 minimized bezel is designed to maximise the display, while still preventing accidental touching of the screen while being held.

Packaged in a stylish metallic frame, the Q6 manages to be both lightweight and sturdy, for a more durable day-to-day usage experience.

The Q6 has also benefited from ergonomic research during the development of the LG G6, which has made it extremely easy to use and comfortable to hold and use with one hand. LG’s proprietary Face Recognition also allows owner to unlock the Q6 quickly and with little hassle.

As expected, the LG Q6 carries on LG’s heritage of reliable camera capabilities. The smartphone incorporates a 100-degree wide angle selfie camera and the cameras improved LG UX 6.0 takes full advantage of the FullVision Display and 18:9 aspect ratio so that users can get the most out of the additional screen space.

The LG Q6 will be available on 24th August for $399 RRP from JB Hi-fi, followed by selected Officeworks stores and other channels.
