Master Lock bring new Smart Padlocks to Oz

Master Lock is making traditional padlocks smarter with their new indoor and outdoor Bluetooth Smart Padlocks, now set to be available in Australia.

According to them, “forgetting keys or number combinations is a thing of the past, with the new Master Lock Bluetooth Smart padlocks. A revolution in padlock security, users are able to use a smartphone as a key to unlock or lock a padlock.”

“Featuring anti-shim technology and a boron shackle, users are provided with maximum security. The Bluetooth Smart padlocks combine ergonomic features with strength, durability and reliability.“

Once setup, users are able to unlock the padlocks using the company's free Vault eLocks app. Master Lock say this system allows users to have greater flexibility and control over security both inside and outside the home.

Using the app, users will be able to share access with friends and receive both activity and tamper alerts.

The Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart padlock arrives at an RRP of $119, the Outdoor Bluetooth Smart padlock is priced slightly-higher at $139. Both are available through Bunnings.

PC World Evaluation Team Review - MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
