InFocus LP70 projector

The LP70 is the flagship mobile business projector of InFocus’s current line-up. As you can see, it’s a highly compact device, weighing just 1.1kg yet still boasting a brightness of 1100 ANSI lumens.

The LP70 can project from between 1.5m to 10m and can throw an image of between 80cm and 6.8m, measured diagonally. Featuring a native resolution of 1024x768 and a contrast ratio of 800:1, the LP70 can function in the standard 4:3 ratio or in wide-screen 16:9, and project from both front and rear locations, widening its mounting options.

Input sources include VGA, S-Video and single RCA video, in addition to a 3.5mm audio jack (the LP70 has a 1W built-in speaker).

When we tested the LP70, setup took only a few moments. A soft carry case, cables, quick start guide and user guides all come bundled. The projector features a zoom lens and can manually be zoomed and focus adjusted. The digital keystone correction is +15º. The LP70 can be controlled using the buttons on top, the supplied wireless remote control or over USB.

The LP70 has a two-year parts and labour warranty and the warranty for the provided lamp is for 90 days or 500 hours, whichever comes first. A variety of accessories is available, from replacement lamps to portable screens.

I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it.
