Apple updates iPods and iMacs

Apple Computer has been busy updating its iMac range and boosting the storage found in its iPod digital music players.

The iMac has gained faster G4 processors running at up to 1.25GHz with 333MHz DDR RAM, improved nVidia graphics and USB 2.0.

The 15in iMac sports a 1GHz G4 processor, 256MB of 333MHz DDR RAM, 32MB GeForce MX graphics card, two FireWire and three USB 2.0 ports, plus an 80GB hard drive. It retails for AUD$2,299.

The 17in model, which retails for $3,299, uses the new 1.25GHz G4 processor and adds a DVD writer and a 64MB nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Ultra graphics card to the basic spec.

The iPod family also has two new members: the 20GB and 40GB capacity models. The 40GB top-of-the-range player can hold up to 10,000 songs, so it should be sufficient for even the most prolific audiophile. The entire iPod range can connect via FireWire or USB 2.0.

Prices for the iPods startfrom $529 for the 10GB version, $699 for the 20GB version or $899 for the 40GB version.

All products are now available either through the Apple Store or the vendor's reseller partners.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.

The Huddle Board’s built in program; Sharp Touch Viewing software allows us to easily manipulate and edit our documents (jpegs and PDFs) all at the same time on the dashboard.

The biggest perks for me would be that it comes with easy to use and comprehensive programs that make the collaboration process a whole lot more intuitive and organic
