Motorola to offer Sega games on mobile phones

As part of the agreement, the Sega puzzle game, Borkov, will come installed in Motorola's new "application-upgradeable" wireless handsets which are expected to be available in the first half of 2001, Motorola and Sega said in a joint statement. Any financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Additional Java-based Sega games for Motorola next-generation multiple communication phones will be made available for download over the Internet, Motorola and Sega said.

Under the terms of the deal, Sega will develop the computer games in conjunction with Motorola's iDen (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) Subscriber Group, which designs and builds integrated handsets, Motorola and Sega said.

Last month, Motorola announced it had started the new developer support program to assist developers who use the Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME), a version of Sun Microsystems's Java programming language for building applications that can be accessed by users over wireless phones and other small, portable devices.

When the Sega game becomes available on the J2ME technology-enabled handsets, it will mark the first time users have been able to play Sega games over wireless phones, Motorola and Sega said.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
