<p>BRISBANE, Australia - August 22, 2002 - SnapGear, an Australian-owned global vendor of VPN Firewall Appliances, has appointed Derek Morwood as Asia-Pacific Sales Manager.</p>
<p>Derek has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. As an Electrical Engineer he has been in contact with nearly every development of IT over this time. He has developed skills in many roles including both hardware and software R&amp;D, customer support, manufacturing, marketing and for the last 8 years, sales. These roles were performed in both Australia and the USA. Before joining SnapGear, Derek was the Asia Pacific Sales Manager for Stallion Technologies, an Australian company specialising in developing connectivity, Internet and VPN equipment.</p>
