This card has a whopping 64MB of memory, which is useful for playing games at ultra-high resolutions; the machine's score of 2750 in 3DMark 2000 did seem a little low, though, when compared to systems sporting GeForce cards.
Other system components include 128MB of 133MHz SDRAM, an internal 56Kbps modem, and a 20GB drive that has a fast 7200rpm spin speed. The sound card is built into the motherboard, which itself is very expandable - containing no fewer than six PCI expansion slots. The computer's housing is an AOpen ATX case with three CD-ROM-sized bays as well as three hard drive-sized bays, and its power supply is a hefty 250W. A Samsung 17in monitor provides display output and Altec Lansing ACS-33 speakers supply the sound output.
A software bundle of Lotus SmartSuite and Norton AntiVirus is part of the package. For support, a three-year on-site insurance- underwritten warranty is provided.
Pros: DVD, CD-RW
Cons: Relatively low 3D Mark 2000
