RSA Security Boosts Local Sales and Marketing Team with Several New Appointments

<p>RSA Security has announced several new appointments to reinforce its local sales and marketing team. The team includes Greg Singh, Sales Engineer; Hwei Oh, Marketing Communications Manager, Asia Pacific; Sean Abbott, Business Development Manager; Brinda Rabindranath, Inside Sales, Julie Riley, Account Manager and Geoff Noble, Banking and Finance Specialist. These appointments are effective immediately.</p>
<p>“We are further strengthening our sales and marketing team in Australia and New Zealand because we see more opportunities here,” said Mark Pullen, Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand of RSA Security. “Their valuable experience and proven skills will help RSA Security improve customer services and deliver better security solutions to our customers in this region.”</p>
<p>Greg Singh joins RSA Security with over 15 years experience in the IT&amp;T industry. In his previous role as senior corporate communications consultant &amp; security specialist at AAPT, Greg focused on driving new business opportunities through technical pre-sales consulting activities and prospective corporate customers. His particular focus was on technical design of telco and integrated solutions. This involved building secure data, voice and convergent networks and applications with the telco component that was based mostly on Juniper, Siemens and Cisco core and edge technologies. He holds several industry certifications from Microsoft, Novell, ISS, Cisco, Critical Path, StoneSoft, RAD Ware and RSA Security.</p>
<p>Hwei Oh has over 10 years marketing experience, with particular focus in the IT sector. Working previously as a Marketing Manager for several IT companies including PeopleSoft and Citect Australia, she was responsible for marketing activities in the Asia Pacific region. Hwei brings with her a good understanding of the Asia Pacific market. Her role in RSA Security is to develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns to strengthen RSA Security’s market presence in Asia Pacific region. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with majors in Marketing and International Business.</p>
<p>Sean Abbott started his career as Account and Business Development Executive for Australia and New Zealand at Turbosoft where he confirmed his client retention skills and secured new business for the company. Sean moved to AXS-One as Business Development Manager, where he was responsible for securing many top 500 companies in the enterprise content management space. Sean brings valuable years of IT experience to RSA Security together with strong interpersonal communication skills, and a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and motivation.</p>
<p>Brinda Rabindranath has extensive experience within the sales management team from a number of software companies including Citrix Systems and Skillsoft. Her responsibilities included account and business development manager support, forecasting and analysing business opportunities, as well as developing relationships within the channel. In her new role, Brinda will deal with new business, lead generation activities and channel relationship management.</p>
<p>Julie Riley was previously Renewals Manager at Clearswift, where she was responsible for relationship management with customers, distributors and resellers throughout the Asia Pacific region. Having worked in security space for 7 years, Julie brings with her demonstrated customer management and communication skills. As Account Manager of Northern Region, she will contribute for customer services and the relationship building in Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>Geoff Noble returns to RSA Security after a successful stint with Network General. Geoff will take on a new role as Banking &amp; Financial Specialist – with a raft of new opportunities in consumer banking. Geoff who is highly experienced and well known in the IT security market will take the lead for RSA Security and continue to drive the business for RSA Consumer Solutions.</p>
