Do you have a PC without USB?

Networking hardware vendor D-link has released two new products for users keen to exploit the benefits of the Universal Serial Bus, also known as USB.

For older PCs that do not incorporate a USB port, D-link has released the DU-A2 ($49 RRP). The DU-A2 is a two-port USB PCI controller, providing two type A downstream ports for connecting peripherals to PCs running Windows 95 or Windows 98.

For users wanting to expand the number of USB ports they currently have, D-link has launched the DU-H4 four-port USB hub that connects up to four USB peripherals to a PC or iMac.

The DU-H4 ($85.00 RRP) provides four type A downstream ports for connecting peripherals and other USB hubs, whilst a single type B upstream port offers users the ability to connect a host computer to another USB hub.

Both devices are Plug and Play and support low speed 1.5Mbps devices and high speed 12Mbps devices, says D-link.
