Australians design “Falcatron” for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Game developer releases concept image of a Ford Falcon based Transformer to commemorate game’s release

After letting the public vote on what they feel would be an Australian themed Transformer, the results have come in and “Falcatron” has been revealed

Thousands of fans on the Ford Australia and Ford Falcon Facebook pages voted on every aspect of the Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo based Transformer.

The Transformer was then brought to life by the design team at High Moon Studios, the developers responsible for the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron video game.

The classic ‘Ford Blue’ was chosen by fans, and the vehicle was deemed to be a valiant Autobot instead of an evil Decepticon.

No doubt a nod to local recognition of the vehicle’s iconic name, fans decided to name the Autobot “Falcatron.”

High Moon Studios’ art department, led by Jim Daly, used the results of the poll to put together a sample piece of concept art.

At this point in time, only the concept art has been released by High Moon Studios to commemorate the release of the game.

No indication has been made by either the studio or publisher Activision on whether the design will be turned into a digital model and released as free or paid DLC for the game.
