Microsoft bringing Foxtel to the Xbox One

Microsoft has inked a deal with Foxtel to bring its Play content service to the Xbox One — months after Sony brought the service to its PS4.
Foxtel has announced it will bring its Play video on demand service to the Xbox One in “the coming months”.
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 was the first console to support Foxtel Play; however, rival Sony has since leap frogged the company by offering the service on its PS3 and PS4 consoles.
Foxtel claims its Play service has been streamed for more than 20 million hours on the Xbox 360 alone.
Watching Foxtel over a gaming console offers several advantages. Foxtel Play works over a broadband connection, has no installation costs and is a non-contractual month-by-month offering.
Part of the service is Foxtel Go, which makes it possible to stream select Foxtel channels to supported Apple and Samsung smartphones.
Following is a list of channels available on Foxtel Play as per the official press release.
Foxtel Play allows customers to select packages featuring live channels including E!, 13th Street, Style, BBC First, Lifestyle Food, Lifestyle Home, Crime + Investigation, FOX SPORTS 1, 2 and 3, Speed, Fuel TV, ESPN, Eurosport, Foxtel Movie channels, showcase, FOX8, Arena, Lifestyle, History, Discovery, A&E, National Geographic, FX, SoHo, MTV, Universal Channel, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel and hundreds of catch up video on-demand titles.
