The CES Files: Brydge Chrome Desktop

While our coverage of this year's CES in Las Vegas was pretty comprehensive when it came to the big name announcements like LG's rollable OLED R TV, there was plenty of smaller, more-niche gadgets and gizmos that we didn't have time to spotlight during the show itself and got a little buried in the noise of the world's biggest consumer electronics tradeshow.
We're taking a moment to appreciate and highlight each of these products up in a new recurring feature called The CES Files, which we'll be running over the next month or so. Without any further hustle, here's the first installment.
While Brydge's previously-announced G-Type keyboard for the Google Slate has still yet to be confirmed for the Australian market, the company are throwing a bone to existing Chrome OS users in the form of their new Chrome Desktop keyboard.
A sleek and ergonomic accessory, the Brydge Chrome TYPE keyboard features both Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C connectivity, a dedicated Google Assistant key and six-month battery life. The minimalist keyboard also comes paired with a wireless trackpad that supports multi-touch input.
Brydge don't yet have official pricing and availability for this one but they're invite potential customers to sign up on their website for further details in the meantime.
