Shure's dual-driver E5c headphones have long been one of the best (and most expensive) sets of off-the-shelf in-ear headphones you can buy. This week at CES, the company is pushing the high-end even higher, with their new US$499 E500 model, their fir...

Is your hard drive more MP3 than PC? PC Eric Dahl shows how you can keep your burgeoning music collection under control.

Are CD ripping services a rip-off?

Each time I look at a new MP3 player, I feel this urge to reboot my music collection--to sacrifice a weekend or two and re-rip all my CDs onto one system so I have everything in a consistent format. But usually, one look at my rack of over 400 CDs ba...

A hard drive in your palm

PalmOne's LifeDrive has put almost everything you'd want from a notebook - document editing, e-mail access, and plenty of storage - into a package not much larger than a typical early MP3 player.

More mini rivalry: H10

The iRiver's 5GB capacity makes it a middleweight contender, aiming for the iPod mini's corner of the market. While at $399 it costs more than the mini (which gives you 4GB storage for $299), it has more than just an extra gig of space to offer.

Digital music heads to the courts

Opinion: Music for nothing; tracks for free

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga 910

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
