Macquarie Park based role - Permanent position. Work with a team of Cyber professionals, reviewing security alerts/incidents


This Macquarie Park based Global Giant is looking for an experienced Security Engineer / Analyst to work with their team of Cyber professionals

You will be responsible for reviewing security alerts/incidents, identifying gaps and providing recommendations and justifications for any changes
You will provide SME advice on various matter of cyber security to the stakeholders as required.

To be considered for this role you will be required to have the following skills and experience:

More than 5 years in Cyber Security
Log analysis skills with exposure in the use of SIEM solutions (ArcSight, Splunk, Logrythm)
Very solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform security analysis as required on customers' infrastructure and/or articulate security requests to assist the SIEM team
Must be a team player with a willingness to knowledge share and help grow the team but work independently with a results oriented mindset.
