Business Project Manager- NSW Government

Title: Business Project Manager- Operation Readiness
Duration: 8 -12 months rolling contract
Location: Sydney Central
Daily Rate: - Max - $800/day inc of super (non-negotiable)
Reports to: - Program Manager

This role is accountable for supporting the delivery and management of the program of work within clearly defined scope, quality, time, cost constraints and making sure the operation is ready for Go Live.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma of Project or Program Management (or equivalent) or minimum 10 years' experience and demonstrated ability in delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate and influence the outcome of significant issues that require implementation by others.
  • You will be required to run through a project report that you have used in you previous project as an example.
  • Demonstrated superior complex project management skills in managing programs of multiple interdependent projects.
  • Demonstrated high level relationship management, presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and experience with demonstrated success at building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and apply strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to manage unexpected issues and events.
  • Sound experience in delivering quality operation
Strong experience in the management and conduct of projects including development and application of project management tools and contract administration and negotiation procedures incorporating:
  • Integration Management
  • Scope Management
  • Time Management
  • Cost management
  • Quality Management
  • HR Management
  • Communications Management
  • Risk Management
  • Procurement Management
