An initial 05-month contract for a Graph Database Specialist to join a global IT-MSP, in support of a large telco initiative here in Melbourne.

  • An initial 05-month contract, with a view to extend!

  • Must have: Graph Database technologies experience to be considered!

This is an end to end autonomous role looking for a person who can take ownership of their responsibilities and deliver a quality result.

Having the ability to work closely across all business units and with all Levels of Management is highly regarded for this position.

This organisation is an iconic Telco organisation, requiring an experienced SME in Graph DB technologies.

The roles activities and responsibilities include:
  • The design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of the Asset Inventory Graph Database.
  • This will also entail performance analysis and the realisation of improved efficiencies, scalability and stability of the database.
  • You may also serve as a "Subject Matter Expert", adding interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight to technical and business stakeholders.

To be considered, you will have the following:
  • You will demonstrate extensive experience in graph database technologies (Titan or ideally Janus)
  • Strong data modelling skills
  • Concepts and design, including property graph model
  • A sound knowledge graph theory and algorithms, experience in Gremlin query language
  • Experience in native integration with the Apache Tinkerpop (V2+) graph stack

  • Gremlin
  • TinkerPop

Having had experience with the following will make you a desirable candidate:
  • Supporting large enterprise Telcos
