Ruby on Rails Developer

Our client, a leader in its field is currently looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to join its IT team on a contract basis. In this role, you will responsible for writing robust and clean code and producing detailed designs.
Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant University degree
  • Minimum 6 years' experience as a developer and 3 years specific Ruby on Rails software development experience
  • Experience with ROR Version 5.0
  • Solid front end development skills with HTML5, XHTML, CSS3,
  • Experience with MVC web frameworks including Rails, Zend (PHP) and Spring (Java)
  • Extensive experience with databases such as Oracle and MySQL
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Nginx, Postgres, Mongo, Node.js)
  • Excellent communication skills
