A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Tech BA for a 6 month contract based in the CBD.

Sydney

Seeking a Tech BA with Financial services Industry experience, preferably financial crimes or other compliance areas.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Perform data gathering and develop technical / business requirements
  • Converts business needs into functional design using knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge and architecture
  • Work with data analytics and helps to mine and understand large amounts of data
  • Prepare technical documents such as data mapping and functional specifications
  • Assist in assessing and documenting the current state of business to identify and recommend improvements and verification and validation of resulting requirements
  • Assist in identifying and managing gaps, determining the effectiveness of proposed solutions and aid in the preparation of developing business requirements documents and models
  • Assist in the delivery of projects (all phases)

Essential:
  • Technical business analysis experience (at least 2 years)
  • Demonstrated capability in business intelligence, ETL, data profiling and SQL

Desirable:
  • Financial Services Industry Experience, preferably Financial crimes or other compliance areas
  • Experience working in technology enabled change programs/projects
  • Exposure to Agile methodology
  • Understanding of BABOK® Knowledge Area
  • Relevant IT or business tertiary qualification
  • Recognised industry certifications
