Seeking an experienced .NET / Java developer to work at a government agency in the Sydney CBD. Apply now - role closes 1pm, January 24th


This government organisation is looking for multiple experienced developers (.NET / Java) to join their Sydney based team for an initial 6-month contract.

These roles will join the organisations Big Data team to work on various initiatives. While big data experience is not required, candidates should demonstrate an interest in working with Apache stack.

Experience Required:

  • 5 plus years of IT experience
  • Java and .NET dev background
  • Web services, REST and SOA
  • Leading DMBS technologies including Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Data Modelling
  • Due to government security, candidates must be Australian Citizens

Desirable Experience:
  • Big data on Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Scala, Phyton, Kafka, Flume, HBase, Hive, Impala.
