Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista, Hard drive with at least 500MB of free space for installation, 128MB RAM (256MB or more for double-byte language systems), Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater for reading Help files, NTFS file system. This is the file system preinstalled on most computers. If you are running FAT then we recommend that you convert to NTFS. Internet connection is recommended for product updates, Instant Restore and Disaster Recovery may not be compatible with encryption software that provides boot authentication with whole disk encryption, such as Safeguard Easy and Bitlocker. Disaster Recovery requires a CD device with burning capabilities. File Backup and Disaster Recovery provide best protection if backups are saved to an external storage device such as a CD/DVD burner, hard drive or networked computer.
