In Pictures: Hitachi to release new Blu-ray video cameras

With the promise of greater storage capacity and high quality video Hitachi have announced two Blu-ray video cameras due to hit Australian shores mid-November.

  • Coming Soon
    The DZ-BD70 and DZ-BD7H are world first products. Both are due out in Australia mid-November.
  • Disk only model
    The DZ-BD70 is a straight to Blu-ray disk model with no hard disk drive. It can record an hour of Full HD footage.
  • Full HD recording
    At full high definition (1920x1080 resolution), it can record up to 4 hours of footage.
  • Hybrid camera
    With the promise of greater storage capacity and high quality video Hitachi has announced two Blu-ray video cameras due to hit Australian shores mid-November. The DZ-BD7H is a Hybrid Cam with a 8cm Blu-ray drive and a 30GB built-in hard disc drive.
  • Easy transfer
    It can also copy the from hard disk drive to 8cm Blu-ray disk so you play it on a Blu-ray player without needing a PC.
