Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust

  • Game characters: Denise (2)

  • The platforming sections appear to feature more heavily than in previous Larry games. Whether they can compete with the likes of Mario or Ratchet & Clank remains to be seen.

  • The curiously shaped contraption in the screenshot above is known as the ‘LoveGun’. What part it plays in the story or the gaming world remains a closely-guarded secret. We’re guessing that it makes its recipients unusually amorous or possibly pregnant (this is a Leisure Suit Larry game after all).

  • Game characters: Uncle Larry

  • Game characters: Ginger

  • Game characters: Denise

  • Game characters: Jenna (2)

  • The original ‘40-year old virgin’ is back! Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is an all-new videogame adventure bursting with cheeky gags and smutty innuendo (what else would you expect from a Leisure Suit Larry game?) Check out our slideshow for all the latest saucy screenshots.

  • In this latest 3rd person adventure romp, gamers will fill the shoes of Larry Lovage; nephew to the original Leisure Suit Larry. The plot sees Larry taking on a summer job at his uncle’s Hollywood movie lot, doing odd jobs and trying to uncover a studio ‘mole’ intent on stealing his uncle’s ideas. Throughout the game, Larry will don a variety of zany costumes as he attempts to infiltrate the various movies in production.

  • Larry in western costume

  • As with the previous release in the series, Magna Cum Laude, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust takes place in a fully-explorable ‘sandbox’ environment. Gamers will partake in a variety of fun mini-games, which include platforming, racing and puzzle-solving elements. Naturally, there will also be plenty of glamorous starlets to woo on the casting couch, with voice talent supplied by Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie), Carmen Electra (Starsky and Hutch) and Nikki Cox (Las Vegas), among others.

  • Game characters: Jenna

  • The Tinsletown setting offers plenty of scope for spoofing and satire. Expect to see well-known movie clichés mercilessly lampooned.
