In Pictures: Pioneer Electronics Australia announces a new versatile navigation system

  • Extras
    The AVIC-F500BT can connect to USB devices and can read music off SD memory cards, in addition to supporting WMA and MP3 music CDs. All source units are controlled via the touch panel display.
  • Optional camera
    The AVIC-F500BT can be fitted an optional reverse camera, automatically displaying images when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.
  • Built-in, but detachable
    Designed to connect to any in-car factory audio system, the navigation unit can be removed from the dash and used in a separate vehicle.
  • Convergence
    The AVIC-F500BT features navigation and entertainment capabilities, with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity and will be available in Q2 2008.
  • All-in-one
    The latest addition to the Pioneer navigation range is the AVIC-F500BT, a system that combines the power of an in-dash navigation unit with the convenience of a portable device.
