Fanatec’s Porsche racing wheel

Significantly cheaper than an actual Porsche.

  • The wheels can be configured with either a sequential shifter (in Auto mode) or a 6+1 speed manual gear shifter.

  • The system clips in to any of Fanatec’s cockpit systems and is adjustable for multiple users.

  • The 911 Turbo S wheel is the pinnacle of Fanatec’s line-up; it’s part of a limited run of a mere 10,000 units. Each wheel comes with a laser engraved number plate and can be registered on the 911 Wheel Club public registry.

  • There are currently no Australian retail prices for the products but the most exclusive edition retails for 480 Euros — and allocations are sold out until August 2009.

  • The wheel is also compatible with Fanatec’s range of racing cockpits; this RennSport cockpit allows a screen and speakers to be mounted around the wheel for an immersive gaming experience.

  • The force feedback–compatible wheel uses an RF dongle to connect wirelessly to a PC or PlayStation 3, while the Xbox 360 will connect natively.

  • Do you wish you had a Porsche, but blew all your money on a whiz-bang gaming PC? Complement it with Fanatec’s range of replica Porsche steering wheels and accessories.
