Ubisoft recently announced the impending release of Tom Clancy’s HAWX
ERS includes radars and incoming missile detection, anti-crash and damage control systems, a tactical map and information relay, and weapons trajectory control. ERS also allows players to issue orders to a squadron.
Ubisoft recently announced the impending release of Tom Clancy’s HAWX (which stands for high-altitude warfare).
Scheduled for release in early 2009, Tom Clancy’s HAWX will be available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, and also for Windows-based PCs.
HAWX will include a co-operative mode, as well as a PVP mode that allows you to challenge up to 15 friends.
Assistance mode is also available. When switched off, all safety features will be deactivated. This comes with increased risks, but offers the player advanced dogfighting manoeuvres and access to a third-person view.
ERS (Enhanced Reality System) is in-game technology that helps turn novice aviators into elite pilots.
The game will include 50 famous aircraft.
The game is set to "revolutionise the way players think about combat in the sky".
It will feature cutting-edge technology, devastating firepower and intense dogfights.
HAWX is the first air combat game set in Tom Clancy’s video game universe.
