    With a competitive initial outlay, prepaid billing and the Next G network's superior speed and coverage, Telstra's Turbo USB modem is a good package overall. The 30-day recharge expiry is a downside but there are a couple of nice sweeteners — you'll get [[xref:|1GB of bonus data]] if you activate the prepaid service before 31 December and you'll also double your data allowance if you recharge with $40 or more before 31 December.

The good news is this that you can pick up the 40in version of this Sony for a bargain price. [[xref:|The Good Guys]] has the 40in model for $1498 — that’s a $1400 saving on the $2899 RRP (but be quick, as this offer only lasts until 23 November).     HTC's much-anticipated Hero smartphone was finally launched in Australia this week. Running Google's Android operating system, the Hero boasts a distinctive design, an excellent user interface and is packed with the latest features. HTC has partnered with retailer Harvey Norman rather than a carrier for the launch of the Hero, but online mobile phone store MobiCity sells an [[xref: |imported Hero for $709]], saving you $90 off the regular RRP. Better still, MobiCity offers the Hero in white, brown and pink — none of which are available in Australia.

Best of all, it has a touch screen so you can use your finger to launch programs and media files.     The Canon FS200 is a serviceable standard-definition camcorder for beginners and videographers on a budget. Boasting a 41x optical zoom lens, a compact body and an external microphone jack, the Canon FS200 is a versatile option that won't disappoint. It also comes bundled with a free 8GB SD card. If you're in Queensland, you can pick up the $529 camera from [[xref:|online store Umart for $339]] — a saving of $180 off the regular RRP.
